A large number of boats have arrived at Stella Maris Yachting’s Southampton facility in the last few weeks ready for wintering and maintenance. Several are regular winter visitors including the beautiful 1970 Irish McGruer 55 Cuilaun, which travels many miles to compete in events on both sides of the Atlantic. Also back again for the third year in a row the elegant classic eight metre Saskia. Both yachts will be given the SMY treatment to keep them in their immaculate conditions that make them admired everywhere they go.
Meanwhile two more Oyster LD43s are lining up to come into the shed, all to undergo upgrades, routine engineering and maintenance. following on the heels of a far reaching refit for Lupo (pictured) including the fitting of a bespoke teak deck, Stella Maris Yachting has become the boatshed of choice for these beautifully crafted motor yachts which combine modern design with tradition. Further LD 43s are expected to make their way to SMY in the coming months as well, including one from Guernsey.
